Brussels Hosted Final Transnational Project Meeting

The final physical meeting between partners took place on 27th September in Brussels, Belgium and was hosted by WFTO-Europe in their office in the Ixelles part of Brussels.

First partners took another view together at the Educational Toolkit (R2) published in fully edited and revised form on the website a month earlier. A brief discussion ensued on the accessibility of the toolkit, and it was agreed to keep it in a downloadable format rather than changing it into a type of e-learning platform. The latter would require more website maintenance, while most users will likely rather download and use the tools and content in offline workshops anyway.

The partners then turned to updating each other on the progress of translating the materials of the Educator’s Handbook (R1) and the toolkit (R2), in order to make them available in several different languages (especially Spanish, French, Italian and Swedish) outside of the originals in English.

Following this, all partners shared updates on their plans for multiplier events. While some were experiencing unforeseen circumstances that made the multiplier event difficult to carry out as originally planned, all discussed potential solutions in a helpful and co-creative spirit.

At the end of the meeting, partners agreed to catch up on the final activities of the project as well as evaluation of the multiplier events towards the end of October, following the project’s regular schedule of bi-weekly meetings.
